FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hardening of hard-alloy blade tool. External surface of blade tool is pre-coated with thermo-insulating layer with thickness of 10–20 mcm. Blade tool is heated to 900–1,000 °C. Plastic deformation is performed by rollers with load of 2,000–9,000 N. Blade tool is sharpened.
EFFECT: higher tool durability.
