METHOD FOR SURGICAL TREATMENT OF PATIENTS WITH HYDRONEPHROSIS OF III A DEGREE OF INCOMPLETELY DOUBLED PELVIS Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC A61B17/00 

FIELD: medicine; urologic surgery.

SUBSTANCE: ureter is resected below its stenosis in an oblique direction with its removal with the stenosed pelvic-ureteral segment and changed pelvic section. At the same time, upper and lower major calyxes are resected, as it is shown on figures 3, 4. In this case, an arc-shaped incision is made in a longitudinal direction, starting from an upper part of the resected pelvis with continuation on the base of the upper calyx, its middle part, and top. Similarly, the lower calyx is longitudinally resected, edges of incisions of the pelvis and calyxes are sutured, the pelvis of a conical shape is formed. Then, ureteropyeloanastomosis is applied on an intubating drain.

EFFECT: method allows for elimination of reasons of hydronephrosis and start of restoration processes in the kidney and the upper urinary tract; as a result, kidney functions are significantly improved, and its reliable preservation is provided, fast and stable restoration of working capacity of a patient and improvement of its life quality are achieved.
