FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: treating the patients with an ureteropelvic junction stricture involves creating a pyeloureteroanastomosis. A two-row continuous suture is applied. A U-suture is used to align primarily a lateral surface of the ureter and an inferior medial surface of the pelvis. One of the suture ends is remained as a first holder. A second suture is applied as a separate suture onto a superior angle of the incised pelvis and a proximal portion of the dissected ureter. The suture ends are used as holders. The anastomosis region is stretched between the holders. A continuous horizontal U-suture is applied. The suture is tied to the second holder in a superior point of the anastomosis. A continuous blanket suture is applied in the reverse direction. The suture end is tied to the first holder.

EFFECT: method for applying the two-row suture provides the simple anatomical alignment as accurate as possible, adapting the sutured tissues, reducing the number of postoperative complication by higher strength and leak-proofness.
