FIELD: radar technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radar, in particular to phased array antennas. The optically switchable phased array antenna array contains waveguide-slit antennas forming a single antenna web, and is controlled by frequency scanning. At the same time, solid-state optical keys in radio-transparent enclosures containing windows for the passage of the laser beam are installed in the antenna array on the slots of waveguide-slit antennas, and lasers controlling optical keys are installed outside the antenna web.
EFFECT: providing the possibility of using a multipath survey while maintaining the frequency scanning method to control the position of the beam, which provides ease of construction, configuration and control of the phased antenna array.
