FIELD: the invention may be used in the antennas of means of communication and radiolocation with wide-angle electric scanning primarily of millimeter and centimeter wave ranges.
SUBSTANCE: the essence of the invention is in that the antenna has a homogenous toroid dielectric lens formed by rotating around the axis of a scattering geometric profile for example of the type "tusk" with thickening to the edges and a ring exciter in the shape of a phased array whose symmetrical axis coincides with the axis of rotation consisting of a quantity of partial oscillators placed on the surface of the cylinder.
EFFECT: provides electric scanning with a beam of the toroid dielectric lens antenna in the sector of angle right up till to the round solid angle and further.
