SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to dermatology, and can be used in the treatment of patients with rosacea. The method includes taking doxycycline 100 mg per day orally and applying azelaic acid - 15% gel - 2 times a day to all affected areas of the skin. As a drug, ethoxidol is additionally prescribed orally at 100 mg 3 times a day for a course of 30 days.
EFFECT: method provides a more pronounced therapeutic effect, long-term remission, does not cause side effects, allergic reactions, has a noticeable antioxidant effect and leads to the normalization of the clinical picture of the disease due to the additional intake of ethoxidol in the specified dosage.
