SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of pharmaceuticals and medicine, namely, to an application of an aqueous-alcoholic extract of the herb of hairy agrimony, or Agrimonia pilosa, produced by the extraction of the source plant-based raw materials on 70% ethanol, followed by drying at a temperature of 40°C, as an agent exhibiting a detoxifying effect on the central nervous system in alcohol intoxication, including the lowered sensitivity to ethanol anaesthesia, reduced duration of ethanol-induced sleep, anti-anxiety effect.
EFFECT: detoxifying activity on the central nervous system of the aqueous-alcoholic extract of the herb of hairy agrimony, or Agrimonia pilosa, in alcohol intoxication.
