SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of energy. A burner capable of burning oil or other heavy oil fuel from a fuel source, wherein the burner contains a combustion chamber surrounded by a wall containing thermal insulation, while the burner contains a fuel-air injector tube extending from the outer open end through the wall and open to the combustion chamber at the inner open end, an oil supply tube having an outer end for connection to the fuel source and passing into the inner part of the fuel-air injector tube and through it to the inner open end of the oil supply tube, located next to the inner end of the fuel-air injector tube, a Venturi insert fixed in the fuel-air injector tube and having an opening located outside of the inner open end of the oil supply tube, and a combustion air supply system including a blower and a recuperator having chambers arranged in a row separated by an impermeable common heat-conducting wall, and the blower is connected to the air inlet for combustion by the first of the specified recuperator chambers, moreover, the outer open end of the fuel-air injector tube is connected to the exhaust port for the combustion air of the first recuperator chamber, and the second of these recuperator chambers has an inlet for the exhaust gas connected to the combustion chamber and an outlet for the exhaust gas, and the combustion air supply system is designed to pass the exhaust gaseous combustion products through the second chamber of the recuperator and heat transfer through a common heat-conducting wall to the incoming air for combustion, flowing through the first chamber of the recuperator and through the tube of the fuel-air injector.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to create a burner running on heavy oil, to increase the reliability of its operation.
