FIELD: research and analysis of materials, primarily explosives.

SUBSTANCE: high voltage power source is connected to capacitor and to discharge electrodes positioned in explosive chamber, one of which is made mobile, with possible movement towards immobile one with constant given speed, thus making it possible to realize spark discharge through explosives when power source is disabled. Explosion chamber is provided with opening door for injection of researched explosive into it, door is provided with blocking system, opening circuit of high voltage power source when door is open. Explosion chamber is positioned in protective cover, provided with illuminator and connection for injection of gaseous substance.

EFFECT: increased precision of determining, safety and expanded functional capabilities.
