FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method for the production of carbon-graphite composite material includes vacuum degasification of a porous workpiece in an oversaturated aqueous solution of zinc sulfate with a concentration of 650 g/l, at a temperature of a salt solution of 80°C. After vacuum degasification, the workpiece is dried at 150°C to constant weight of the workpiece. Carbon-graphite pores are sealed by means of dipping of the workpiece preheated to 400-450°C into an aluminum AK12 alloy, with subsequent cooling of the workpiece in air. The workpiece is impregnated with a melt of a matrix aluminum alloy of the same composition under excessive pressure due to thermal expansion of the melt of the aluminum alloy, when heated by 300°C higher than a temperature of aluminum alloy recrystallization. The workpiece is sealed with a lead alloy in a mold, at a temperature of 500°C.
EFFECT: increase in the quality of composite material.
