FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy. The method for producing a carbon-graphite composite material includes vacuum degassing of a porous preform in a supersaturated aqueous solution of nickel sulfate hexahydrate with a concentration of 600 g/l, at a salt solution temperature of 80°C. After vacuum degassing, the workpiece is dried at 150°C to a constant weight of the workpiece. The pores of carbon graphite are sealed by dipping a billet preheated to 400-450°C into aluminum alloy AK12, followed by cooling the billet in air. The billet is impregnated with a melt of a matrix aluminum alloy of the same composition under the influence of excess pressure due to thermal expansion of the aluminum alloy melt when heated by 300°C above the recrystallization temperature of the aluminum alloy. The workpiece is compacted with lead alloy in a mold at a temperature of 500°C.
