FIELD: pharmacology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to experimental pharmacology and can be used to prepare female rabbit recipients in order to create transgenic animals. Correction is carried out by intramuscular administration of progesterone-based suspension to female rabbits at a dose of 11.5 mg/kg, regardless of the phase of the estrous cycle, and 4 days after the introduction of progesterone suspension, intramuscular administration of prostaglandin F2α at a dose of 0.083 mg/kg is carried out, followed by surgical transplantation of genetically modified embryos 24-48 hours after ovulation.
EFFECT: proposed scheme of hormonal correction of the ovulatory cycle in female rabbit recipients for the transplantation of embryos modified by genetic engineering significantly increases the number of implanted embryos during their transplantation by surgical method.
