FIELD: lens antennas of the microwave range.
SUBSTANCE: lens matrix antenna consists of a focusing system, an irradiating device designed to irradiate the focusing system and consisting of an array of irradiators placed in the focal plane at a distance from the focusing system and overlapping the ray projection zone at this distance. The focusing system is made in the form of a dielectric gradient metal lens containing at least three regions with different filling densities in three-dimensional printing: the first with a coefficient of f=1, the second with a coefficient of f=0.7, the third with a coefficient of f=0.4. The array of irradiators is made in the form of an array of antenna elements consisting of a central element and offset antenna elements relative to the optical axis of the dielectric lens.
EFFECT: improvement in the characteristics of the antenna unit by matching the lens with the conditions for focusing radiation on the antenna plane.
