FIELD: antenna equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to antenna engineering and specifically to devices for receiving and transmitting electromagnetic waves in radio communication systems. Result is achieved by the fact that disclosed is an antenna unit, which includes an antenna and a lens located at a distance from it, made of a dielectric with a density gradient, which is at least three annular areas, the geometric centres of which are displaced relative to the construction axis of the lens, wherein said lens can rotate about its axis while antenna comprises modulated impedance metasurface or represents a scanning antenna.
EFFECT: increase in the scanning sector due to a large number of dielectric structures with different values of permittivity and displacement of geometric centres of regions of said structures.
