FIELD: tire industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for including solid granules into the tire tread. The method involves the extrusion of a rubber blank to obtain tread strips, which are rolled in several layers around a pre-treated tire and which are then profiled to obtain the appropriate tread pattern and vulcanized. The method also includes the distribution of solid granules over the surface of the tread strip before rolling the next layer of the tread strip onto the pre-treated tire so that the granules are included in the shaped, i.e. with a pattern, wear surface of the tire tread after profiling and vulcanization. After receiving the extruded rubber tread strips, before the distribution of solid granules along them, there is the stage of applying an adhesive composition to the surface of the tread strip, applied with the possibility of strengthening the subsequent adhesion of solid granules to the tread strip. In addition, solid granules before their distribution on the surface of the tread strip are pre-treated with low-temperature plasma with the possibility of enhancing the subsequent adhesion of solid granules to the tread strip.

EFFECT: increase in the service life of the tire tread by increasing the adhesion of solid granules to the tread material.
