METHOD FOR ASH AND SLAG WASTE PROCESSING Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC F23J1/02 C04B18/10 B09B3/00

Abstract RU 2788504 C1

FIELD: ash and slag waste processing.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of processing ash and slag waste (ASW) from the combustion of coal from thermal power plants and can be used to obtain organo-mineral powder for the manufacture of asphalt mixtures in road construction, as a mineral additive in the production of concrete mixtures, dry building mixtures, cement, as well as in the production building materials. The method for processing waste from drained sections of the ash and slag dump of the hydroash removal system of thermal power plants includes mechanical dehydration of raw materials to a moisture content of 25-30% by swirling, forced drying to a final moisture content of less than 1% with the separation of raw materials during the drying process into at least two fractions and the restoration of its active properties by grinding material to the specified fineness of grinding. Before drying, the raw materials are classified on a screen, removing unburnt in the form of fractions +0.5 mm. A fraction of -45 µm is isolated in the dried material and sent to a warehouse, and a fraction of +45 µm is crushed to the required size and sent for storage to a storage tank.

EFFECT: obtaining a high-quality highly dispersed mineral additive with improved performance properties due to mechanical activation and an increase in the physico-chemical properties of particles, as well as reducing the duration of the technological process (increasing productivity) by removing underburning before the crushing stage.
