METHOD FOR ASH AND SLAG WASTES OF THERMAL POWER PLANTS PROCESSING FOR PRODUCTION OF CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC C04B18/10 B09B3/00

Abstract RU 2667940 C1

FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processing of ash and slag wastes (ASW) of current release of thermal power plants and thermal power plants operating on coal fuels, with a purpose of large-scale industrial utilization of recycled ash and slag as active mineral additives for cement, concrete and other materials in production of construction products. Method of processing ash and slag wastes of current release at thermal power plants operating on coal fuels equipped with boilers with liquid or solid ash removal, includes intensive mixing of liquid slag or slag melt with fly ash taken directly from bins installed under ash catchers of power plant boilers, rapid cooling of ash and slag mixture by air-water jets during its aerodynamic spraying, drying the ash and slag mixture to a moisture content of less than 1 %, separation by at least two fractions: up to 80–160 mcm and more than 80–160 mcm, joint grinding of ash and slag mixture of fraction more than 80–160 microns with addition of lime or cement clinker to tin with a specific surface of not less than 4,500 cm2/g, separation of the obtained ground mixture by a closed cycle by separating the ground mixture into a ready mixture and grits, which is returned after separation to the grind, mixing of all the obtained components at ratio, by mass %: separated and ground ash and slag mixture 84–91, said additive 8–15, water is the rest, storage of the resulting mixture.

EFFECT: utilization of ash and slag wastes, simplification of their processing.
