FIELD: biometry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biometry, namely to a technology of protection of different objects from access of unauthorized persons by identification of a person by a pattern of veins of the palm. A method for identification of a person by a pattern of veins of the palm includes obtaining from a stream a frame displaying the pattern of veins of the palm and linear characteristics, its preliminary processing, which does not change a type of data, analysis of the obtained frame by a convolutional neural network preliminary trained for classification of images of the known format by classes, each of which corresponds to one registered subject, whereas the result of analysis is the first vector of probabilities of belonging of the selected image to each of the known classes. At the same time, the fact of biometrical identification is established in two stages, at the first stage, an identification subject is established, corresponding to i-th output of the neural network, and at the second stage, the selection of the identification subject is confirmed by checking with i-th neural network corresponding to the identification subject selected at the first stage.

EFFECT: increase in the accuracy and speed of identification of a person.
