FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of medicine, namely to a composition for prevention and/or treatment of dyslipidemia, and/or hypercholesterolemia, and/or metabolic syndrome, and/or cardiovascular disease, containing: a) berberine (hereinafter – BBR); b) pea proteins; c) one or several surfactants selected from lecithins, polysorbate 80, or combinations thereof; where the ratio between BBR and pea proteins is in the range from 1:1 to 10:1 wt./wt. The group of inventions also relates to the use of a composition for the production of a drug for prevention and/or treatment of dyslipidemia, and/or hypercholesterolemia, and/or metabolic syndrome, and/or cardiovascular disease. The group of inventions also relates to the use of a composition for prevention and/or treatment of dyslipidemia, and/or hypercholesterolemia, and/or metabolic syndrome, and/or cardiovascular disease. The group of inventions also relates to a method for the production of a composition, including obtainment of a solution or a dispersion of a surfactant selected from lecithins, polysorbate 80, or combinations thereof, and addition at one or several subsequent stages of BBR and pea proteins. The group of inventions also relates to a composition for prevention and/or treatment of dyslipidemia, and/or hypercholesterolemia, and/or metabolic syndrome, and/or cardiovascular disease, containing a composition and at least one suitable pharmaceutically acceptable excipient, and a method for the production of a composition.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides an increase in solubility and bioavailability of berberine.
