FIELD: construction and installation works.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of construction and installation works and can be used for the implementation of the junction of reinforcing bars. The method for joining reinforcing bars during installation of reinforced concrete products includes a longitudinal arrangement of reinforcing bars with a gap between the ends and linings along the joint, applying tack welds between the linings and reinforcing bars. The overlays are made of halves of pipes with an inner diameter equal to the outer diameter of the reinforcing bars, and with a thickness of 5 mm. The halves of the pipes are connected by welding to each other and welded along the entire perimeter of the fit to the reinforcing bars. One of the halves of the pipe has a neck for pouring liquid metal, which is used to join reinforcing bars.
EFFECT: implementation of the junction of reinforcing bars.
