FIELD: disposal of solid waste.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of recycling solid waste, in particular, to recycling oil filters of military and civilian motor vehicles. Method for recycling oil filters, based on the disposal of spent filter elements, includes the stages of clamping the filter, installing a burner in the threaded hole of the filter, burning the spent filtering elements and oil, and transferring the filter body to the receiving appliance. In the process of burning the spent filtering elements and oil, the combustion products are forcibly removed by using an exhaust hood with a casing and collected by using an air flow purification module. Herewith, the thermal energy released in the process of recycling is collected, converted into electricity by using a thermoelectric module, and supplied to consumers. Apparatus for recycling oil filters comprises a transportation tool made in the form of a conveyor belt with a drive, whereon clamping apparatus are installed in at least one row. The apparatus also includes a collecting appliance and a receiving appliance; a burner with a first drive, configured to move in a vertical plane relative to the plane of movement of the conveyor belt, in a number equal to the number of rows on the belt; and a control unit linked with the drives of the burner and the conveyor belt. A thermoelectric module is installed at the base of the burner, and the burner is equipped with an exhaust hood and a second drive and is configured to move in a plane parallel to the plane of movement of the conveyor belt. An air flow purification module is installed on one of the drives of the burner between said burner and the exhaust hood, wherein a casing configured to be assembled and disassembled is installed on top of said module.

EFFECT: higher degree of environmental safety of the process of recycling oil filters.
