FIELD: railway vehicle devices.
SUBSTANCE: inventions group relates to railway vehicle devices that use the energy of vehicle movement. The system for generating electricity on a train with disc brakes on the axles of the wagon bogie, contains a brake disc having an outer edge and connectors located around its outer edge, a generator, a support frame for positioning the generator on the wagon bogie, a clutch for mechanically connecting the generator with connectors on the brake disk. In this case, the connectors include a sequence of slots, and the clutch contains a clutch element having a plurality of teeth for engagement with the slots. A variant of the generation system is also claimed, in which the clutch includes a chain located around a part of the circumference of the brake disc, and the clutch element has a plurality of teeth for engagement with the chain. An option of the generation system is also claimed, in which the support frame contains a pair of rods running parallel to the axes, a transverse frame element located between the two rods near the brake disc.
EFFECT: improving the efficiency of the power generation system.
