FIELD: railway engineering.
SUBSTANCE: monitoring and diagnostic system for a railway car (10) is proposed. The system contains blocks (1a, 1b and 1c) of sensors. Each sensor block (1a, 1b and 1c) contains sensors and a data transmission unit. The specified set of sensor blocks contains an energy collector, a means of energy storage. The monitoring system also contains a sensor hub (4) containing a communication subsystem (cs) and a receiver (5). The data transmission unit is designed so that the sensor blocks (1a, 1b and 1c) transmit the detected/measured data to the sensor hub (4). The communication subsystem (cs) is designed so that the sensor hub (4) transmits data to the receiver (5) via wired or wireless communication.
EFFECT: ensured energy independence is achieved.
