FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy, namely the thermomechanical processing of pearlitic chromium-molybdenum steels, adapted to the climatic conditions of the Far North, for use in facilities for the production, storage and transportation of gas and oil on the Arctic shelf, as well as for structures and structures for various purposes operated at low temperatures. The method consists of preliminary and final processing, and the preliminary processing includes: heating and holding the workpiece for 1 hour in the austenitic region (above line A3), single rolling at the same temperature with a reduction of 20%, followed by quenching in water, and the final processing includes tempering for 1 hour at a temperature of 550-650°C and rolling to a true degree of deformation of at least 1.4 at a tempering temperature. After each pass, the workpiece is heated to a predetermined temperature, the reduction per pass is 10%.
EFFECT: increase in strength at room temperature, while maintaining high plasticity, and an increase in impact strength at negative temperatures for products used in the Far North, in facilities for the production, storage and transportation of gas and oil on the Arctic shelf, as well as for structures and structures for various purposes, operated at low temperatures.
