FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to psychiatry, and can be used for the treatment of withdrawal psychoses in patients addicted to butyrolactone and 1,4-butanediol. The method consists in conducting detoxification therapy, which includes 0.9% sodium chloride solution 1200 ml/day, 5% glucose solution 400 ml/day, phenazepam solution 0.1% up to 10 ml per day, as well as taking the drug phenibut in a dose 0.75 g three times a day: morning, afternoon and evening, daily, for 10 days.
EFFECT: use of the invention provides a reduction in the time of treatment of psychosis due to the rapid restoration of the regulatory function of the brain, a decrease in the severity of psychopathological symptoms and the absence of side effects inherent in traditional therapy using haloperidol.
