FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, in particular to a method for the treatment of intoxication of psychosis based on the pharmacological correction of disorders of brain metabolism. Method consists in administering Cytoflavin to the patient in a dose of 0.57 ml/kg of body weight at a rate of 20 drops per minute (1 ml/min) twice a day (in the morning and in the evening) daily for 7 days.
EFFECT: invention provides a reduction in the treatment time of intoxication psychosis due to the rapid recovery of the regulatory function of the brain, prevention of life-threatening complications due to the patient being in a state of delirium with hypoxia for a long time and reducing the use of sedatives traditionally used in treatment systems for delirium.
