SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to a method for cleaning mica raw materials from various impurities for the production of mica papers used primarily in the electrical industry, in particular for insulation gaskets, insulation of windings of electric machines, high-voltage cables or between collector lamellae. The method for separating bitumen-containing and wood impurities from mica raw materials includes feeding mica raw materials to a moving transport belt, extracting impurities from the flow of mica raw materials by means of rollers and removing impurities from the belt. The rollers are made with needles and placed on a moving transport belt, which, when moving, turns the rollers with needles. The latter penetrate into bitumen or wood, and cannot pierce mica, in this case, the rollers are raised by the thickness of mica, while pieces of bitumen or wood, being strung on needles, rise up from the transport belt and then they are removed from the needles into a stationary tray with a fixed comb, which is one of the walls of the tray, from where impurities are removed to the heap. The distance between the needles and the rows of needles is from 2 to 10 mm. The needles on the second roller are shifted horizontally by a step, the size of which provides the middle between the needles of the first row of the first roller. If impurities are visible during visual inspection of mica, then mica ore is repeatedly driven along the belt of a moving transporter through rollers with needles to improve the quality of cleaning.

EFFECT: increase in the quality of purification of mica raw materials.
