FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for enriching mica for production of mica paper used primarily in the electrotechnical industry. The method for producing raw materials for production of mica paper from dumps of mica mines includes the stages of using slot and sieve vibrating screens. At the third stage, the remaining small-sized mica plates with a size of less than 4 cm2 and the remaining rock enter an aerodynamic separator, wherein fine-sized mica and fine rock are separated by means of air supply.
EFFECT: increase in the productivity due to production of mica with a size of less than 4 cm2 from dumps and purification thereof is provided.
