FIELD: production automation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a radar sensor for automation of production and logistics. The radar sensor has a radar circuit system, which has a radar chip for creation, emission, reception, and assessment of radar measuring signals, having an opening angle of less than 5°, the radar chip has a cross-sectional area of less than 1 cm2 and generates radar measuring signals having a frequency more than 200 GHz, while a width of a modulation band for modulation of radar measuring signals generated by the radar circuit system is more than 10 GHz.
EFFECT: provision of miniaturization of a measuring system in a combination with high resolution of a radar.
