FIELD: solar power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of solar power engineering, namely to photoelectric converters based on semiconductor materials of a perovskite type. In general, the invention relates to photovoltaic devices – solar batteries and photodetectors. The task of the proposed invention is provision of high efficiency and long-term operational stability of perovskite solar batteries of a p-i-n configuration. The specified task is solved by the claimed photovoltaic device with a perovskite photoactive layer and inorganic passivating coating based on metal halogenides, as well as a method for the manufacture of this device.
EFFECT: proposed invention allows for provision of long-term operational stability of perovskite solar batteries of p-i-n and n-i-p configuration; in addition, it allows for achievement of high performance of photovoltaic devices of >17%.
