SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of oil refining and petrochemical industry. Claimed is a method for producing aromatic hydrocarbons from a wide fraction of light hydrocarbons in the gas phase. To implement the method, hydrocarbon feedstock and water are distributed into the reactor, which includes at least two consecutive independent reaction zones, or at least two series-connected reactors. In this case, water is supplied to each reaction volume. Depending on the temperature parameters in different reaction zones, the volumetric rate of water supply can be adjusted. In this case, the supply of water and hydrocarbon fraction is carried out in the gas phase, and the total ratio of raw materials and water is in the ranges of 76...85%/15...24%, respectively.

EFFECT: creation of a method for producing aromatic hydrocarbons from a wide fraction of light hydrocarbons in the gas phase in a multi-shelf reactor or several independent sequential reactors with a distributed supply of raw materials and a distributed controlled supply of water.
