The proposed glass ionomer cement for fixing fixed dentures, obtained by mixing the powder of glass ionomer water-soluble cement and liquid, is characterized in that a colloidal solution of titanium dioxide nanoparticles in a mass concentration of 10-3-10-5%, which is distilled water, is used as a mixing liquid , in which, by means of high-frequency discharges between titanium electrodes, electric arc breakdowns are initiated to erode the end surface of the electrodes and separate nanosized particles of titanium dioxide with a size of 0.5-3.0 nm.

EFFECT: use of the above aqueous solution of titanium dioxide colloid (TiO₂) as a mixing liquid improves the physical and mechanical properties of the fixing cement, in particular, provides high compressive strength, high adhesive ability.
