FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to therapeutic dentistry, and can be used for the hermetic closure of root and furcation perforations made as a result of iatrogenic exposure, during endodontic treatment, defects caused by root resorption, as well as for filling the apical part of the canal and closing the apex of the unformed root. Proposed method of making mineral trioxide aggregate cement for closing perforation posts during endodontic treatment involves mixing trioxide aggregate cement with a hardening liquid, wherein colloidal silver solution with mass concentration of silver of 10-3–10-5% is used as the tempering liquid obtained by passing high-frequency discharges between silver electrodes placed in distilled water.
EFFECT: use of the method enables improving the quality of treating defects caused by endodontic treatment due to better sealing of the perforation.
