FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to orthopedics, and can be used in the treatment of pronation contracture of the proximal radioulnar synostosis. An incision is made along the outer-lateral surface, in the sagittal plane, from the lower point of synostosis, at an angle of 45° to the longitudinal axis of the radius. Then its osteotomy is performed. An oblique osteotomy of the proximal end of the distal part of the osteotomized fragment of the radius is performed at an angle of 45° to its longitudinal axis and at an angle of 90° to the osteotomy performed in the sagittal plane, with excision of the bone wedge along the outer posterior surface of the radius. Derotation of the forearm is performed with pronation correction and its installation in the middle physiological position, with transverse fixation of the radius to the ulna with Kirschner wires. The wound is sutured tightly in layers.
EFFECT: method provides increased efficiency of surgical treatment, achievement of stability of the achieved positional position, with improved anatomical outcome, and reduction of the period of osteotomy fusion due to correction of pronation to the functional position of the forearm without soft tissue tension, resulting in the provision of osteotomized fragments as a result of adaptation.
