SUBSTANCE: invention discloses a vertical humidifier with an evaporator with a variable diameter, which is an evaporative humidifier, which includes an outer housing, inside which an evaporative water tank is provided, an evaporator is provided in the tank, a fan is installed under the evaporator, the inlet end of the fan is connected to the air inlet into the outer housing; in the upper part of the tank for evaporative water a water storage tank is also installed, the evaporator surrounds the lower part of the tank, and the tank is connected to the evaporative water tank through the water inlet; an air outlet is provided in the upper part of the outer housing, which is connected to the exhaust end of the fan, the evaporator is located in the airflow channel between the air outlet and the exhaust end of the fan.

EFFECT: noise is reduced by installing a fan at the bottom of the evaporator so that the sound waves of the working noise pass through the evaporator and decrease; a variable diameter evaporator with a dense lower end and a loose upper section can also increase the effect of turbulence and mass transfer of the airflow, thereby effectively improving the humidification performance; in addition, a variable diameter evaporator surrounds the longitudinal compact design of the product, which makes the humidifier smaller in volume.
