FIELD: medicine; neurology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to neurology; it can be used for stage-by-stage pain relief in myofascial vertebrogenic syndrome. Deblocking is conducted, starting from the lumbosacral region, moving to the thoracic, and then the cervical spine. In this case, deblocking is performed by compression and rotation of vertebrae displaced from the median line of the patient’s body. For this purpose, from a side of displacement of the vertebra to the outside, a distal phalanx of the left hand thumb is installed between the vertebra body and its spinous process at an angle of 45 degrees to the spinous process, the thumb is bent in the interphalangeal joint, and pushes are applied with the middle thenar of the right hand to the distal third of a proximal phalanx of the left hand thumb until displacement is eliminated.
EFFECT: method provides an increase in the quality of medical assistance to patients with myofascial vertebrogenic syndrome due to reduction in the risk of traumatization of the ligamentous apparatus, when rotating and deblocking.
