SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a system and a method for control of a gas-turbine engine of an aircraft. According to the invention, control system (100) contains: processing system (110) in a normal mode, containing global adjuster (21) made with the possibility of control of a rotational speed of the gas-turbine engine by supplying given position value (C_WF) to fuel dosing device (11, 12) and local adjuster (23) made with the possibility of control of a position of the fuel dosing device by supplying control current (I_nom) in a normal mode; processing system (120) in an operational mode with degraded characteristics, containing straight adjuster (122) made with the possibility of control of a rotational speed of the gas-turbine engine by supplying control current (I_deg) in an operational mode with degraded characteristics and mode control module (130) made with the possibility of supply to the fuel dosing device of control current (I_nom) in a normal mode in the absence of failure of a position sensor measuring a position of the fuel dosing device, and supply of control current (I_deg) in an operational mode with degraded characteristics in case of failure of the position sensor.
