FIELD: hydroacoustic depth determination systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydroacoustic depth determination systems and may be used to automatically detect bottom echoes and perform high-accuracy depth measurement. The technical result is achieved by applying the second microcontroller and interpolating the rising edge of the echo signal envelope, which excludes overestimation of the echo signal spread time in the acoustic environment as a result of acoustic interference at the electroacoustic transducer input and electrical noise in the echo sounder receiving path.
EFFECT: invention improves the depth measurement accuracy.
