SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a food preparation device. The food preparation device comprises a lid, a device body and an inner cap, wherein the lid is positioned on the device body to open and close the device body, the device body comprises a heating structure, and the lid comprises: a lid body; a baking unit located under the lid body, wherein the lid body is provided with a ventilation channel through which the inside of the cooking device communicates with the outside, the inner cap is removably mounted on the lid body and is located under the baking unit, the side wall of the ventilation channel is provided with a ventilation hole ; a blocking element slidable in the ventilation duct, wherein the blocking element is slidable down to the bottom of the ventilation duct when the inner cap is detached, and the blocking element is operable to block the vent when the blocking element is located at the top or bottom of the vent channel.

EFFECT: invention solves the problem that the electrical components inside the lid of the prior art food preparation apparatus are exposed to moisture.
