FIELD: fiber-optic technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fiber-optic technology and is intended for use in the creation of fiber-optic introscopes and remote power sources based on optic guides. The claimed device contains an elliptical mirror, in the rear focus of which there is a source of incoherent optical radiation, and in the front focus there is the end of a fiber optic cable, sequentially mounted on one optical axis and optically connected. Additionally, a glass plate with a significant dependence of the refractive index on temperature is introduced into the device to ensure self-focusing of the light beam, installed close to the end of the fiber optic cable.

EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of the input of radiation from a source of incoherent optical radiation into the optic guide.
