FIELD: fiber optic equipment.

SUBSTANCE: device for input of incoherent optical radiation into a light guide comprises serially installed on one optical axis and optically connected mirror, source of incoherent optical radiation, lens and light guide. Additionally introduced are a light filter, a glass plate with a significant dependence of the refraction index on temperature, a gradient rod lens, the lens is equipped with a catadioptric ring and the lens has a cylindrical hole on the optical axis, mirror is made in the form of a counter-reflector with an internal mirror coating, in the side hole of which there is a lens with a catadioptric ring, and a source of incoherent optical radiation is located inside the counter-reflector so that its optical axis coincides with the optical axis of the counter-reflector and the lenses located on one line. Gradient rod lens, plate with significant dependence of refraction index from temperature and light guide are located one after another, and light filter is located before plate with significant dependence of refraction index on temperature.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of efficiency of radiation input from source of incoherent optical radiation into light guide.
