FIELD: temperature-sensitive devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to temperature-sensitive devices, in particular to limit temperature alarms. The thermally controlled switch contains a housing in which two contacts are located and a temperature-sensitive element made of a material that changes its structure when the switch operation temperature is reached, moreover, the temperature-sensitive element is made of a complex calcium and barium ferrite of CaBaFe4O7 composition and is a plate pressed and sintered from CaBaFe4O7 composition powder, installed between two fixed contacts. In the case of the arrangement of contacts towards each other, the plate is installed between them and is rigidly attached to the end of each of the contacts, and in the case of a parallel arrangement of the contacts, the plate is rigidly attached to one of the contacts, and the distance from the end of the plate to the second contact is determined by the switch operation temperature.
EFFECT: simplification of the circuit breaker design.
