SUBSTANCE: invention relates to evaporating devices, such as, for example, portable personal evaporating devices for formation of inhaled aerosol from one or more evaporated substances. An evaporating device is proposed, containing a current source circuit, a power supply input, and load switching circuits connecting the current source circuit and the power supply input to an output made with the possibility of connection to a heating element of an evaporator. The current source circuit, the power supply input, and load switching circuits form part of an integrated circuit. A method for functioning of an evaporating device is also proposed.

EFFECT: inventions are aimed at provision of circuits, which provide a possibility of improved operation of an evaporator, including improved operating characteristics of a heater and fault-tolerant features, thereby improving an evaporating device.
