SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of winding a web in a roll. A method for winding a web made of non-woven mineral wool into a roll is proposed, according to which the winding device is operated, the non-woven mineral wool web and/or the resulting winded roll is monitored by at least one image capturing device to obtain at least one actual state of the non-woven mineral wool web and/or the winded roll; at least one actual state is compared with at least one target state corresponding to the actual state, and If the deviation exceeds/decreases below at least one set limit value, at least one operating parameter of the device is corrected, and the operating parameter is a factor contributing to the deviation occurrence.
EFFECT: invention provides for high efficiency during use.
