FIELD: plastic films. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to storing plastic film subjected to stretching before storage in roll. Proposed method includes stretching of film, removing opposite edge zones of stretched film, partial loosening of film and its storing. Film is stretched with excess of its yield point to relative elongation exceeding 100%. After removal of opposite edge zones of stretched film, relatively uniform thickness film is obtained. Partial loosening of film is carried out to release part of component of film elastic deformation with preservation of 20-80% of elastic deformation. Film is kept in partially loosened state for further use. Invention provides description of film manufactured by said method and recommendations on load wrapping in film. EFFECT: provision of uniform thickness of film for wrapping loads without additional stretching. 7 cl, 3 dwg
