SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the design of mining machines. The portable rotation gearbox of a mining machine contains a housing, shafts, gears, bearing supports placed inside the housing. The portable rotation gearbox of the mining machine also contains an output gear, which is mounted and rotates on the axle. The portable rotation gearbox of the mining machine is made with the possibility of transferring rotation from the drive through the shafts and gears to the output gear. On said axis, without the possibility of rotation, a sleeve is installed, which is fixed in the hole of the said body by means of a cover fixedly fixed on the said body. The axis is made with the possibility of translational movement when opening the kinematic connection between the output gear wheel and the gear wheels of the gearbox by moving the screw. Said axle is made with the possibility of axial movement inside the sleeve. On the axis, with the help of a locking element in the form of a key, a bushing installed in the bore of the housing is fixed, having longitudinal internal grooves on its front end. The cover fixed on the body has protrusions on its inner surface that enter the grooves of the bushing and securely fix it from turning in the bore of the body.

EFFECT: creating a reliable locking connection between the axle and the housing, which excludes its rotation relative to the gear housing during the translational movement of the axle at the moment of opening the kinematic connection in the gearing.
