FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering; it can be used in multi-position radio engineering systems for determination of coordinates of a given radiation source (RS) with code and time separation of channels. In the claimed method, at a preparatory stage, a location of only a central reception and processing point (hereinafter – CRPP) and a support peripheral reception point (hereinafter – PRP) PRP1 is determined in a manual mode. Each CRPP and PRP1 additionally include a transmitter used for emission of control signals. A distance dCRPP,k from CRPP to all K PRP, k=1, 2, …, K, is determined by emission with CRPP transmitter of control signals towards each PRP and reception from them of a retranslated signal, followed by determination of their delay Tk, dCRPP,k=Tk·s, where s is the speed of light. Similarly, a distance d1,k from the support PRP1 to K-1 PRP, k=2, 3, …, K, is determined, and measurement of signal delay and d1,k value is performed at CRPP. Based on the cosine rule, angles in formed triangles are determined: CRPP – PRP1 – PRPk, coordinates of k-th PRPk (x, y)k are determined in a local system of coordinates.
EFFECT: increase in the efficiency, when deploying a meter and moving it in conditions of the absence of availability of signals of the global navigation satellite system (GNSS).
