FIELD: measuring technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for measuring the levels of interfaces between media in various industries. The housing for the electrodes of the capacitive interface sensor is a metal profile formed by connecting several tubes of the same length to each other, containing a stiffening element connecting these profile tubes. In this case, each profile tube contains a ventilation hole made coaxially with the ventilation hole on the side surface of the collar part of the sensor base, and also contains on its side adjacent to the measured environment, slot. The housing is formed by connecting several geometrically similar housings by means of a coupling, which is a cylinder, which in cross section repeats the cross section of the electrode housing and on the side surface contains slots made along the entire height of the coupling and on a larger area of the side surface.
EFFECT: ensuring the inertia of measurements with the simultaneous exclusion of clogging of the body tube due to waxing of the measured medium and, as a result, increasing the accuracy of measurements, as well as providing the ability to measure the levels of the interfaces of liquid media with different dielectric permittivity without the need for additional calibration of the capacitive sensor.
