FIELD: drilling.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to drilling, namely to drilling fluids based on biopolymer reagents, including gum. A method for determining the quality of drilling biopolymer reagents based on gums is proposed, including the preparation of at least two aqueous solutions of different gums with a concentration of 0.3% in technical water, stirring for 3-4 hours, after which measurements are taken on a 6- or 12-speed rotational pseudoplastic viscometer. parameters of each resulting solution, namely the coefficient of non-linearity, consistency index, plastic viscosity at low shear rates (VLSR). Next, a shear load is created for each solution on the mixer at 15,000 rpm for 5-10 minutes and the pseudoplastic parameters of the solutions are measured after the shear load. Then solutions are taken with parameters lying within the following limits: non-linearity coefficient 0.3-0.45; consistency index 6-9 Pa⋅sn; VLSR 25000-30000 mPa⋅s.
EFFECT: ensuring stable pseudoplastic properties of gum-based biopolymer reagents during drilling throughout the entire drilling interval.
