FIELD: audio encoding/decoding.

SUBSTANCE: device and methods for generation of an encoded bit audio stream are claimed. The solution consists in inclusion to the bit stream of metadata of a structure of nested streams and/or metadata of information about a program and audio data. Other features are a device and methods for decoding of such a bit stream and an audio data processing module, for example an encoder, a decoder, or a postprocessor made, for example programmed, with the possibility of implementation of the method and containing buffer memory storing at least one frame of the bit audio stream, generated in accordance with any option of implementation of the specified method.

EFFECT: solution is aimed at provision of data processing for situations, in which a set of audio data processing modules are scattered on a diverse network or placed sequentially in a chain and, as expected, optimally perform corresponding types of audio data processing; solution also makes it possible to improve and store characteristic signs, when presenting audio data content.
